For thirteen years, Joe was the Director of Textile Research & Development at Patagonia. In 1997 he was a founding member of Patagonia’s Advanced Concept Development Center in Bozeman, Montana.
During his tenure at Patagonia, Joe was responsible for innumerable textile innovations such as creating the first global supply chain to support the manufacture of certified organic cotton clothing and converting soda bottles into premium quality fabrics made from post-consumer recycled feedstock.
In 2002, formed TEXbase which delivers end-to-end, on-demand product integrity management software that protects brands, enhances product innovation, increases speed to market and reduce costs. TEXbase provides a platform to generate, relate and analyze data across a global supply chain for quality, efficiency and compliance management.
Joe is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, holds a US patent and has won numerous awards for his contribution to the industry. Joe is an avid outdoorsman taking full advantage of the beautiful surroundings in Southwest Montana where he lives with his wife and their two children.
