Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center
July 10 – 12, 2014 - Shenzhen, China
Rising demand for high-quality textiles in the Southern China region will provide a promising backdrop to this year’s Intertextile Pavilion at the Shenzhen International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics and Accessories, held from 10 to 12 July 2014 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. The favourable market conditions in the region have led to increased demand from overseas exhibitors to participate, with country / region pavilions from India and Korea returning to the fair, and the debut participation of a pavilion from Taiwan.
The 2014 edition of Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen will occupy a total of 30,000 sqm in halls 2, 3 and 4, an over 33 % increase from last year. Within these halls a large selection of high-quality fabrics for ladieswear, casual wear and suiting, the latest knits, lace & embroidery and accessories, and a range of yarns & fibres will be on offer to buyers. In particular this year, a larger selection of quality lace and embroidered fabrics for women’s fashion, wedding apparel and accessories will be showcased.
Many overseas exhibitors at last year’s fair commented on the growing potential in Southern China for international suppliers. “This is the first time we have exhibited at this fair and there are a lot of people visiting our booth. We are quite optimistic about the market and the business expansion opportunities in this region,” explained Peter Westcott from British company Westcott Design Ltd. Organisers of the Korea Pavilion, the Korea Fashion Textile Association, were equally as optimistic. “Shenzhen has a lot of manufacturing plants for ladieswear and is centrally located within the region,” said Assistant Manager Carol Oh. “Close by, Hong Kong has the buying offices, while Zhongshan focuses on leisurewear and Huizhou is the centre of menswear production. Taking all these factors together, I believe we will continue to find a lot of business opportunities and buyers at this fair in the future.”
