TradeStone Software Partners with AsiaInspection on Testing, with MicroStrategy on BI

TradeStone Software, provider of merchandise lifecycle management (MLM) solutions that unify the design, sourcing, ordering and delivery of retail goods has partnered with AsiaInspection, a provider of quality control services for businesses importing from Asia, to introduce TradeStone Testing & Inspection Services.

The services will facilitate collaboration between product development, sourcing, quality assurance and compliance on products, purchase orders and factories that require testing, inspecting and auditing; they also allow retailers and brand manufacturers to automatically associate their products with AsiaInspections’ required testing and inspection protocols, as early as the design and development phase, and to easily trigger the process with AsiaInspection and Suppliers.

Lab testing and inspection results — including those that fail — will be made available by AsiaInspection within TradeStone’s MLM system, along with quality performance indicators.

In other news, TradeStone has launched a business intelligence (BI) solution built on the MicroStrategy platform, which offers best-practice-based operational and analytical reports, as well as management performance dashboards. It also offers clients the ability to build and publish their own formatted reports based on TradeStone data models.

According to the company, the BI module makes it easy to make report changes and updates while offering integrated analysis and up-to-date pictures of the merchandise lifecycle. Its reporting focus areas are PLM, sourcing, order management, logistics, quality and vendor management.
