ecVision Releases New Audit and Inspect Modules

ecVision is offering new functional modules that extend the capabilities in its Product Lifecycle Execution product, XpressCommerce. The Audit and Inspect modules enable retail and private label manufacturers to collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure factory/supplier compliance, product quality and technical standards, ecVision reports.

The Audit module provides the ability to: communicate with inspection teams and schedule compliance inspections; calendar and schedule recurring audits; monitor and manage vendor and factory performance for on-time delivery, social compliance, environmental footprint and regulatory compliance; and establish audit processes and ensure audits are performed and compliance is reached.

Users can also analyze risk by cross-matching current and future activity with non-compliant suppliers and select suppliers that meet compliance standards using KPIs, and lockdown activity, such as future orders, with non-compliant suppliers.

The Inspect module enables the scheduling of product inspections with audit and inspection companies, and also provides online inspection forms for tracking production quality and compliance results. It allows KPI scorecards to be built based on product quality and provides retailers with the opportunity to lock down activity with non-compliant suppliers.

XpressCommerce® is a web-based solution that connects retailers to their supplier network and delivers the key functions of product lifecycle management (PLM) and supply chain execution (SCE) systems in a single solution with centralized data repositories. The key functionality in the system enables retailers to manage capacity and raw material reservations, global sourcing and costing negotiations, orders, track production and shipment milestones.
