Apparel and accessories retailer Windsor is adding Aptos Enterprise Order Management, Warehouse Management and Flash and Sales Analytics to its suite of Aptos solutions (Aptos Store, Merchandising, CRM and Sales Audit) in the cloud.
Established in 1937, Windsor caters to today's junior and contemporary woman with 137 stores throughout the U.S. and its e-commerce site. The Aptos and Windsor partnership has been in place for over 20 years, and in 2005, the retailer became an early adopter of Aptos' cloud retail suite.
"By leveraging Aptos and the cloud, we've been able to gain improved scalability, reduced risk, improved speed-to-value, and the ability to free up information technology resources to focus on business growth and innovation," said Leon Zekaria, president, Windsor. "This has enabled us to keep our finger on the pulse of the fast-paced and ever changing retail business and continue to grow the Windsor brand. In the next year, we plan to add an additional 20-plus stores and expect double-digit year-over-year growth in our e-commerce business. Aptos will help us manage this growth by providing a differentiated and seamless shopping and service experience for our customers," he added.
Aptos' singular commerce platform integrates every part of the enterprise to enable truly seamless customer experiences no matter where, when or how customers shop. Supporting omni-channel operations, information is integrated across channels to support one complete view of customers, inventory, orders, and more.
The addition of Aptos Enterprise Order Management will enable the company to profitably manage all orders throughout their lifecycle, from initiation to fulfillment and back.
With Aptos Warehouse Management, Windsor will improve fulfillment accuracy and reduce inventory carrying costs, while automating the manual processes that are in place today -- delivering great operational efficiencies. In addition, Aptos Warehouse Management will play a central role in Windsor's transformation into an omni-channel retailer, by also managing all customer order fulfillment requirements.
Flash and Sales Analytics will empower Windsor with intra-day sales analytics needed to make faster, better informed business decisions to fuel its growth and innovation. Windsor can expand its advanced analytic capabilities via the Aptos Analytics suite as it continues its growth as an omnichannel retailer.
"Over the past decade, we have supported Windsor's evolution from an exclusive prom and formal wear specialist into a modern, trend-focused fashion retailer, while staying true to its roots and focus on the prom and formal wear needs of its customers," said Noel Goggin, CEO and culture leader for Aptos. "And today, we are proud to help Windsor prepare for its next wave of growth, as it looks to blur the lines between brick & mortar and e-commerce by supporting singular commerce and seamless experiences."
With more than 122,000 stores live on its singular commerce platform available in the cloud, more than 500 retail brands across the globe rely on cloud-ready Aptos solutions to generate over $523 billion in annual revenues.
